Project “Fortifications of Tallinn”
- Sub-project “Paljassaar” – Preservation and
exhibition of the fortifications on Paljassaar Peninsula, and
above all, the largest architectural items – the White Tower;
creating awareness of the former star fort and commemorating it
on its former site;
- Sub-project “Patarei Barracks” – undertaking
to seek new functions for the fortified barracks of the naval
fort (later served as a prison), helping to create awareness of
the buildings as a complex;
- Sub-project “Scanian Bastion” – undertaking
to find a new function for the former bastion;
- Sub-project “Viimsi” – undertaking to find
a new function for military architecture within the emerging living
environment on Viimsi Peninsula, helping to create awareness of
the buildings as a complex;
- Sub-project “Tallinn Town Wall” – undertaking
to display the town wall and its towers and to find them new functions;
- Sub-project “Double Battery” – undertaking
to halt the dilapidation of the ‘Double Battery’,
restoring the buildings and determining their contemporary functions.
